Adam Kemp is an aspiring photographer and writer who has an avid curiosity about the world and its inhabitants. Adam was born in 1993 in Melbourne where he currently resides. With a solid background in hospitality and customer service, a well honed set of people skills is something that Adam draws on to create his work, and this is especially evident in his portraits. Adam is particularly interested in photographing action sports such as skating and snowboarding but has enjoyed shooting weddings, cafes, headshots, street photography, and social documentary work as well.
Post high school, Adam undertook a working holiday in Canada where he developed his passions for snowboarding and mountain biking, and mountain life in general. Since returning to Australia, he has been studying an Advanced Diploma of Photography at Photography Studies College in Melbourne, and will graduate at the end of 2015. After completing studies, Adam intends on continuing with traveling by means of a trip to China and Mongolia to document the people and industries of those countries.
