Alexandra Bishop

Growing up in a remote country town of Tasmania, I grew up with fresh and local produce right in my backyard; a town where anything was growing and readily available to pick out of the paddock. 

This project is about my love of food; which came from my mother’s cooking and her personal experiences living outside of Australia, helping and learning in the kitchen and constantly asking, “What’s for dinner?” Growing up, my small community organized fresh vegetable boxes and packed them in my fathers shed and I can still remember the fresh smell of vegetables and the dirt that came along with it.
