First glances may tell a lot, but they cannot tell the complexity of an individual. We have learned a visual language, allowing us to assess faces and people in a split-second. These judgments we make are often a result of visual stimulation, understood by the things we have experienced and become. They’re not, of course, our final conclusions. The Stranger Within intends to unravel the layers we find when we become more acquainted with the people in our lives. The images try to portray a depth more fallible and complex than meets the eye - we are all just a story waiting to be told.
