Tania Gioffre is an emerging Fine Art Photographer born in 1976 in Melbourne, Australia.
After years of perpetual study and travel, Tania finally found photography and realised it was the perfect creative outlet that combined all her loves: storytelling, cinema, theatre, and dance.
Her work tends to explore the darker side of the human condition, concentrating on themes of vulnerability, solitude, anxiety, depression and despair, drawing out the emotion through metaphor and a gentle surrealism in an attempt to create beauty from the darkness within.
Tania’s love of dance, circus arts and movement has also allowed me to work commercially with many local dancers and performers, as well as students and graduates of NICA.
Tania completed her Advanced Diploma with an Art major at PSC in 2014.
